Applications deadline for reception places looms
Parents and carers interested in securing reception places at our new Uttoxeter first school are being urged to apply ahead of the deadline.
We, Bramshall Meadows First School, on Ivinson Way, will be opening in September 2022 and have places for 150 pupils, age 4 to 9, and nursery age children.
Parents and carers wanting places for children aged four and five are being advised to apply before the local authority deadline of Saturday, January 15th, 2022.

Construction of the £4.3 million first school by Midlands-based contractor G F Tomlinson is underway and progressing well with the roof recently being installed.
Our new building will comprise a nursery, classrooms, a multi-use hall, catering space, outdoor sports pitch, play areas and car parking.
Andrea Kenny, Interim Executive Headteacher of Bramshall Meadows First School and All Saints Church of England First School, who completed a site visit this week, said: “It’s great to see the building start to take shape with the installation of the roof.”
She added: “We are looking forward to seeing this exciting project progress and we would like to encourage parents and carers who want reception places to apply before the January 15th, 2022, deadline.”
The new first school will be led by Uttoxeter Learning Trust, which has eight Ofsted graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ schools including All Saints Church of England First School, on School Lane, Church Leigh.
We are part of a wider plan to expand provision in response to increased demand for places generated from new housing and is being funded by a Section 106 contribution and Staffordshire County Council.
Planning permission for the school was approved by East Staffordshire Borough Council in June 2020.
