  • Be able to inspire and challenge our highly motivated and enthusiastic children.
    • Become confident and enthusiastic to lead 1:1 and group activities including SEN interventions.

Apprentice teaching assistants have the opportunity to start working in a classroom straight away. Teaching assistants work very closely with the children and often support the same ones long term. They can have a life changing impact on the people they work with.

Apprenticeship duration: approx. 18 months

Salary expectations: starting salary can be between £15k and 19k

After completion, apprentices may progress to higher level teaching assistant roles and specialist teaching assistant roles.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS.

Visits to the school are encouraged. Please call the school office on 01889 221555 to arrange.
