For September 2024

Permanent Full Time

Bramshall Meadows First School, part of the Uttoxeter Learning Trust, is a state of the art, brand-new free school that opened in September 2022 to meet the demand for new, high quality primary school places in Uttoxeter on the newly built Bramshall Meadow estate.

It is a 150- place first school growing slowly but steadily each year to enable the school to give every child the opportunity to reach the highest standards of achievement and personal development. The leadership team and governors will foster a team of teachers, nursery and support staff, all of whom will be experts in primary education, with a shared drive to place children at the centre of every decision enabling them to bloom.

We welcome applicants wishing to be part of our team and willing to engage with all stakeholders to secure an ‘outstanding’ education for our children. You will be encouraged by a supportive staff team and an ambitious, forward thinking Trust with a determination for excellence and a drive to ensure that Bramshall Meadows children reach the highest standards of achievement and personal success.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Y2 teacher to join our team from September 2024. We wish to appoint a creative and energetic teacher to enhance our current staff team– someone who will make a real difference to our children’s lives and continue to build upon the excellence that the school currently offers. We are looking to recruit a teacher who is passionate and committed to providing children with opportunities and experiences that challenge and inspire them; a teacher who has a proven track record of good and outstanding teaching.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Be a dynamic, reflective classroom practitioner and have a willingness to be innovative when planning for our creative curriculum
  • Take part in all aspects of school life and will fully support our School Vision, Values and ethos
  • Have the potential and ambition to become an outstanding teacher with the support of an outstanding team
  • Be able to work flexibly and supportively within a wider team
  • Be passionate about enabling all children to reach their potential
  • A SEND qualification or willing to work toward this (desired not essential)

In return we can offer:

  • Enthusiastic and happy children
  • A motivated, hardworking and passionate staff team
  • A thriving and positive school community
  • An excellent programme of continued professional development
  • An amazing working environment
